The 3rd Annual Fall foliage Half Marathon and 5k will take place Sunday, October 13 in Rhinebeck. The race moved to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds because of major growth that is expected in both attendance and spectators. Registration is moving quickly and race organizers are looking forward to a sellout race. Charity partners include local Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation and the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Race organizer, Running Away Inc., is thrilled the race continues to expand in registration numbers and its presence amongst the Rhinebeck community and the surrounding areas. “We are happy to see that registration continues to outpace last year and cannot wait to see the final numbers,” said Race Director Matt Linick. “Our relationship has grown with both the Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation and Team Fox and we are pleased to be able to give back to them as a part of our race.”
Race Registration is ongoing at www.fallfoliagehalf.com. Registration will be available on race weekend provided that the race does not exceed 1000 participants. Packet pickup will be held on Saturday October 12th at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Rhinebeck. The Half Marathon will start at 10 a.m. and the 5k will take place shortly thereafter.
