NORTHERN DUTCHESS EXPOSURE

Event Description
Bard College, Red Hook Area Chamber of Commerce, and Rhinebeck Area Chamber of Commerce are delighted to announce their partnership on a new and exciting event for the Northern Dutchess area. "NORTHERN DUTCHESS EXPOSURE - A Career Fair and Business Expo" will happen on October 5, 2010 at the Bard College Bertelsmann Campus Center. The event will be held from 12 Noon to 6 p.m.
NORTHERN DUTCHESS EXPOSURE will feature local and regional businesses showcasing their services and products. Additionally, panel discussions and workshops will be held related to a variety of industries, including the creative and visual arts, "green" careers, healthcare, and publishing. Consultants will also be available to address some basic knowledge necessary for a successful employment search. Topics to be addressed include: resume writing, interview preparation, the use of social networking for job searches and other timely subjects.
Attendance from both the business community and the community-at-large is anticipated as "side" entertainment events will be offered by Bard student groups and outside entertainment.
Following NORTHERN DUTCHESS EXPOSURE a cocktail reception will be held at the Kline Faculty Dining Room from 6 to 7 p.m. for the exhibitors and sponsors.
