Benefit in Support of Children with Autism in the Hudson Valley Attending Center for Spectrum Services
This is our single major event for 2013 in support of Center for Spectrum Services (formerly, The Children’s Annex), where we have been educating and supporting children and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders for 37 years. A large funding gap has developed in recent years due to reductions in government’s financial support of schools across the region, and our school is no different. The gap continues to grow, while expenses to provide best practice in education for our special children continue to rise. Funds raised as a result of your attendance at, and support of, this fun event will help us sustain our mission of brightening the lives of children with Autism and giving each of them every opportunity to reach his, or her, fullest potential.
Bring your friends and enjoy a cocktail or soft drink while you peruse our beautiful, unique, and interesting silent auction items. Then, take your seat in the ballroom and prepare to enjoy a delicious dinner with your choice of entre, all the trimmings, wine on every table, and cash bar. In short order, our extraordinary auctioneer, George Cole, will make the evening fly by as we bid, laugh, and enjoy the energy he and his team bring to a live auction event.
