About Us

At the convergence of the majestic Hudson River and the Catskill Mounts is where seekers and servers connect to one another and the sacred ground of Linwood Spiritual Center. Linwood Spiritual Center is a ministry of the Society of St. Ursula and a vital part of the Congregations' 400-year-old tradition of education, hospitality, and service. Linwood provides an atmosphere of openness where 21st-century pilgrims find sanctuary. Rooted in the Ignatian tradition of finding God in all things, we foster freedom and growth to assist all on their spiritual journey. Linwood sponsors and hosts retreats and programs encompassing spirituality, wellness, recovery,  environmental awareness, social justice, and the arts. We also offer Spiritual Direction and group supervision. We welcome area non-profits and religious organizations to host staff retreats and planning days.
